The Andhra Pradesh government has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Wadwani Foundation to enhance the use of emerging technologies. This agreement aims to improve governance through the use of technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), Generative AI, drones, and other advanced technologies. The primary goal of the MoU is to use Artificial Intelligence effectively in government services to make governance transparent and implement policies faster.
Advanced Technologies Play a Key Role in Government Service Digitization
The agreement was signed in the presence of IT and Electronics Minister Nara Lokesh, with Katneneni Bhaskar (on behalf of the AP government) and Prakash Kumar (on behalf of the Wadwani Foundation). Speaking at the event, Minister Nara Lokesh mentioned that advanced technologies will play a crucial role in the digitization of government services. He emphasized that AI will become increasingly important in policy design and service delivery, and the Wadwani Foundation will assist in this regard.

The MoU focuses on three main aspects:
