Be Prepared for By-elections: KTR..!
BRS Working President KTR urges party leaders to prepare for upcoming by-elections, responding to the Supreme Court's remarks on defection cases. KTR has also filed a petition in the Supreme Court to disqualify MLAs who defected to Congress after winning on the BRS symbol. The court has initiated an inquiry into the matter.
Hyderabad: BRS Working President KTR has called on party leaders to be prepared for by-elections. Responding on social media to the Supreme Court's remarks regarding the inquiry into defections, KTR stated that it would be impossible to protect those who switched to Congress, given the clear constitutional law and the Supreme Court's prior judgments.
In this context, KTR urged BRS workers to be ready for the upcoming by-elections. Meanwhile, KTR has filed a petition in the Supreme Court to disqualify MLAs who won on the BRS symbol and later joined Congress. Justices B.R. Gavai and Vinod Chandran of the Supreme Court have initiated an inquiry into the matter. The court clarified that it would consider petitions filed by BRS MLAs Padi Kaushik Reddy and Vivekananda regarding the defection of D. Nagender, Kadiyam Srihari, and Tellam Venkatarav.
